Testing the strength of the wind.

We are carrying out an experiment to test the strength of the wind. We tested it on card to see the impact and now we are using bubbles to see which way the wind is blowing and how strong it is. We watch the bubbles move and mark the speed out of ten. Take a look in our science...

Measuring Sunflowers

We have updated our sunflower diaries again today by measuring them and counting how many leaves they have. The tallest was 70cm! We are hoping they have a growth spurt before the end of term so that we can see the flowers.

Acts of Peace

The class talked about the idea of peace. The children discussed what peace is and how they can achieve it at school. Each child thought up lots of peaceful ideas and committed to five that they will try to do over the next week! Good luck being peacemakers Class 6!

The Final Countdown…

On Tuesday morning we had the final countdown challenge of Class 8 this year and what a event it was! The eventual result was four joint winners in the class: Aruma, Lucy, Louie and Oscar.
