As part of our topic enrichment day all of Early Years and Key Stage 1 visited the Castle Museum to learn even more about chocolate. All of the children walked there very sensibly with their rucksacks and sunhats in the glorious weather. When we arrived we followed the trail of mice carefully through the museum looking for more interesting facts on the way. We saw old chocolate bars including a Terry’s chocolate lemon! We visited the chocolate factory room and joined in with the different games and visited the old chocolate shop in the Victorian Kirkgate. Thank you so much to all of the volunteers and parents who helped us on the trip, we could not have done it without you.
