Class governors

Timo mentioned in his blog of 10 October that governors were going to be linked to classes at school. I’ve been linked with class 3 and am looking forward to my association with the pupils. I’m going into school tomorrow morning to meet them for the first time and will let you know how I went on. If you are a parent of a pupil in class 3, I’m sure they’ll let you know as well.
It will also be helpful to have your views and comments on the scheme as well as any suggestions.

I think it is a fabulous idea to have the governors in school more often!
I have been linked with Class 5 and went to deliver some replies to letters the children had sent me this morning. It was great. I was so impressed by the confidence of the pupils. One student walked up to me, greeted me, introduced him self, shook my hand and then went back to reading at his desk. What a star!
I am really looking forward to getting to know Mr Mastrelli’s class.
