December already!

Doesn’t time fly? You could feel a chill in the air outside today. We wrapped up warm and worked hard in the forest. Last week we made animal homes. This week we let our imagination run riot……we made little boats and beds for our creatures. We even had a harbour! Sage was fascinated.

We started today with a Key Stage 2 assembly full of poetry, then phonics, Funky Fingers, a maths activity, some silk painting, (choir at lunchtime for those who wanted to), a discussion about Arctic animals, Forest schools/outdoor clasroom and then singing assembly.

Phew!

How lovely! And what a fantastic idea. You explained, this morning, how this will become a new family Christmas tradition. We’re delighted to be part of your family history! And a real credit to Bruce’s ingenuity!
