EYFS/KS1 Country Celebration Day!

As part of our Topic of ‘Around the World’, we got on board ‘Park Grove Airlines’ and began our journey to 4 different countries. Each class visited Brazil, Egypt, India and Australia. For each country, there were a range of different activities taking place. In Brazil we were making carnival masks, in Australia we made dot paintings, in Egypt we made pyramids (and walked like an Egyptian!) and finally, in India we made Mehndi patterns and designs. At the end of the day, ‘Park Grove Airlines’ brought us back to England and we talked about all the countries we celebrated throughout the day. It was a fantastic experience and we all had a great time!
