Effy Ford (Children and Family Support Worker/Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead)

My name is Effy Ford and I have worked at Park Grove since 2011. Throughout this time I have worked as an EYFS teaching assistant and a one to one support, both of these roles have been fantastic and I have loved for many different reasons. I have a passion for supporting children and have a degree in working with children, young people and families. I have varied roles across the school, as I am now a HLTA and part of the school’s Pupil Support Team. I support children in both key stages and cover PPA lessons in Key stage 2.

Outside work I love music and art. I have been fortunate enough to see some amazing artwork in Rome, Spain and Holland and would love to revisit these places one day as well as travelling to places I have not yet been! I have a large family with lots of brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews so this has been good training for working in a school!

I look forward to continuing my work at Park Grove. It is a lovely school with a caring atmosphere, and is a great place to work.
