Hi – I’m Mrs Martin.

I am Deputy Headteacher at Park Grove .

I have been teaching since 2008 and have experience teaching throughout the primary phase, working with children in the Foundation Stage and across Key Stages 1 and 2.

Before joining the Park Grove team I taught for 7 years at an Infant School in South Yorkshire. In the past I have been responsible for leading English, ICT and Creative and Performing Arts – some of my passions!

I enjoy all aspects of school life, particularly sharing stories I love, investigating and finding out new things and being involved in Christmas concerts – they always make me feel very festive! The best thing about working at Park Grove is our incredible children, they ensure no two days are ever the same. I also feel very lucky to be part of such a supportive, creative and inspirational team.

At home I have two beautiful girls and a little boy who keep me very busy. We love reading together, swimming and being outdoors. My children love exploring our local woods and we spend most weekends in the park. My own hobbies include reading (my head is often buried in a good book), baking (or at least learning to), watching films (the scarier the better) and shopping – my husband is not too keen on this hobby.

Natalie
