English

Next week in English we’ll continue to read the book ‘The Lion and the Unicorn’ and learn what happens to the main character Lenny.

Maths

In maths next week we’ll be looking at areas of maths which we need to work on including fraction of amounts and written multiplication.
Reading

Please remember to bring your yellow Reading Record into school so that we can fill it in after your guided reading session. Remember if you forget your reading colour band, please come and ask us and we can remind you. We have shown you where all of the home reading books are and so please help yourselves to the lovely books we have there.
Spellings
You have been given your spellings on Monday. Please practise them at home and complete the activity set in your homework books. Remember that your spelling homework is checked on a Monday so please bring your homework book in then.

Other Notes

Please bring back your class assembly slip as soon as possible! If you have been given lines to take home and learn we would appreciate it if you could go over them so that ideally you know them off by heart for our forthcoming performance.
