English
Next week in English we will write our own newspaper reports!

Spellings
You have been given your spellings on Monday. Please practise them at home and complete the activity set in your homework books. Your spelling homework is checked on Monday too so please bring your book in then and put it in the homework tray in class.

Maths
In maths next week we will be working on data handling linked to the story ‘If the World were a Village’.

We have given you a ten times tables booklet to help you practise and learn your ten times tables. We have also set you a My Maths homework. Remember that to get on the site the username is: parkgrove and the password is: multiply. You have your own personal log-ins to access your homework tasks.

Other notes

Next Wednesday and Thursday is Parents’ Evening. Please bring back your slip for an appointment if you haven’t already.

The half term will end on Thursday as Friday is a teacher training day. Please do not come into school on Friday as it will not be open!
