My name is Nick Moss and I was co-opted as a governor of Park Grove in September 2016. I qualified as a solicitor at Wombell Bond Dickinson LLP, a top 40 law firm, following the completion of a law degree at Newcastle University. I spend most of my working day advising Local Authorities, Schools, Academies and Trusts on a variety of educational matters. Throughout my career I have has advised charities and schools on constitutional and governance matters, as well as Local Authorities and Academy Trusts on the Education Funding Agency’s Priority Schools Building Programme, rebuilding and refurbishing school buildings in the worst condition across the country. Having initially advised on property issues at public sector sites, I now spend my time advising Councils and Academy Trusts on commercial and constitutional matters.

Having gained a significant amount of legal knowledge in the education sector, I wanted to give some of my time to a local school and this fantastic opportunity arose at Park Grove, just down the road from where I live.

In my spare time I enjoy running and playing for a couple of local football teams
