Powerful Performance Poetry

We got very dramatic in Class 9 today, creating our own performance pieces based on the poem ‘Snow’ by Carol Ann Duffy.

It’s a very interesting poem and has lots of powerful imagery, so it was perfect to create some effective and powerful pieces of drama to!

What did you think to our performance?

    Me, Dan, Jamie and the rest of the class did an amazing job performing our poem.

    I was in a group with Jamie and Dan our line was: slow, slant, silent; a huge unsaying; it fell; torn language; settled the world to be locked; local;

    I think you performed it very well and I was even more impressed when I heard you discussing the poem in our English lesson today.
