Rain, Rain go away…

Isn’t this weather just miserable! What have you been doing this half term? Our next topic is Journeys. Have any of you been on a journey or going somewhere this holiday? I have walked to my allotment and been for a run but that is it so far. I have spent most of the time playing lego (with my children!). It is Scarlet’s birthday on Saturday and she wants me to make a Frozen Cake for her. She is planning to watch the DVD with her friends for her party – I think all Year 2 children must like Frozen!

Yes, the weather has been a bit sad but my garden looks terrific…if you like weeds!
I can categorically say that not all Year 2 children like Frozen. My Year 2 Toby Lamb doesn’t ‘get it’ at all and says the girls in his class sing it all the time and that it’s ‘really annoying’.
Give him Minecraft any day..or a football!

I too have been watching Frozen with my daughter (who is 14!) I really enjoyed the film and the music. I have been out and about in the rain and painting my porch a sunny yellow colour.
