BUSINESS

Register of Attendees

Holly made a note of those present.

Summer Fair update

School Council members explained to Mrs Helliwell about the pricing for the penalty shoot out stall. We will charge 20p for 1 go or 50p for 3. It will be individual goes, rather than a tournament, as a tournament would be too difficult to organise. The School Council need more donations for the penalty shoot out stall. If people do not bring enough donations we will have to go to the shop and spend our own money on sweets for prizes. We would therefore be very grateful if as many people as possible bring in donations of sweets that do not contain nuts.

Suggestions/ideas

Class 5 suggested that the School should get the KS2 water fountains fixed. The School Council said that that would not be able to happen because children used to shove pencils down the fountain and it got blocked and flooded. They said that they have installed fresh water tanks for people to get cups and have a drink of water from there instead.

Class 4 suggested that we should watch a film during wet play sometimes. The School Council said that they should try suggesting the idea to their teachers.

Class 8 asked for a PE enrichment day. The School Council said that they would have one next term.

Thoughts for next year

The School Council said that they didn’t need a School Council meeting every week and they could consider that thought for next year.

Any other business

Dinner Ladies have mixed up the menus for school dinners. Miss Sawyer will look into that.
