Recap on jobs for playground equipment
The School Council need three signs to label different boxes, each with parts of playing equipment in them, and it is the School Council’s responsibility. So far one sign had been done. Miss Sawyer said she would carry on and make the other two signs and laminate them. The rota for when classes can use the playground equipment needs to be adjusted slightly. Year fives and sixes should take the playground equipment in and out, and take the equipment back in when the children are lining up. Classes should start playing with the equipment fairly soon. One of the School Council went out of the boardroom to tell the classes all about the rota, and when they can play with the equipment.

School Council stall
Mr Mastrelli and Miss Sawyer said that School Council members would need a permission slip signed by their parents so they could work on the penalty shoot-out stall at the summer fair for a 20-30 minute period. We discussed what would happen if it rained on the day of the Summer Fair. The PTA said that they could hopefully squeeze them in the gym. The Total Sports people will help out on the stall and go in goal. The PTA will match fund the amount that the School Council raise up to £150. We need to get people to bring in donations of sweets, but none with nuts in. They can be stored in the cupboards in the boardroom. The price per go might be 20p for one go and 50p for three. The School Council need two more signs from Manon and Ellen after the brilliant one they did before. The sign one should say ‘School Council’ and have the prices on. People who don’t win could get a lolly or another small sweet as a consolation prize. If the stall is going to be inside we may change it to netball instead. It was suggested that the bell used to call people in at the end of play time could be used to attract attention to the stall.
