BUSINESS

REGISTER OF ATENDEES

Holly made a note of those present.

CHRISTMAS FAIR

A number of points were mentioned:

* Children should decorate the jam jars at their home not at school.

* School Council members should remind the children in their class to bring in a jam jar with whatever they want inside.

* William had asked the P.T.A. if the design for the School Council popcorn and candy takeaway was acceptable.

* The governors had bought 61 candy canes for the stall.

* Toby confirmed that the popcorn machine works.

* Toby has written a letter to the children and parents of the school about the popcorn cones.

* Children could decorate the popcorn cones as an activity in their class.

* The School Council will fill the popcorn cones on the night of the Christmas Fair.

* The School Council will put a bag of candy at the side of the candy grabber so people who do not win a prize on the grabber can have a consolation sweet.

* The School Council could hopefully sell lots of the jam jars and that the Chief-bloggers should blog about it.

CHILDREN IN NEED

It was mentioned that it would be nice if children and/or parents could come to school dressed in spotty outfits and donate 50p, and that Ben would write a letter to parents accordingly.

POPPY APPEAL

It was mentioned that Fletcher and Holly have told all the classes about it and children should get a poppy from them.

It was said that every class will have two minutes silence on 11th of November.

SUGGESTION BOXES

Class 7 suggested that more books in the library would be good, and William has written a letter to Mrs Campbell about it.

Class 7 also suggested that more fish in the pond in the wildlife area would be good, and Fletcher will write a letter to Mr Stoner about it.
