School Council Minutes – Thursday 4th February 2016

Attendance
- End of year attendance prize (reward). School target is 96% attendance. Discussion about having an attendance board and prizes for the winning class each term. Mr Mastrelli asked the children what prizes they were interested in. These were the suggestions:
- Books.100%
- £5.00 book voucher.
- Hour of sports or extra play.
- Extra French.
- Movie of our choice (vote)/Choice of lessons.
Sport Relief
School Council came up with a range of suggestions for Mr Mastrelli to consider for this event:
- Extra hour of sport
- Come in sporty gear.
- Fun run. Bring in £1.00 and join in sporty fun.
Suggestions
- Class 5-In the summer the possibility of eating outside. Pack-ups only.
- Class 4-Slide. Too dangerous!
- Class 9- Class pet. We already have chickens.
- Class 8-Stop motion club. Ask I.T staff members to see if they would like to run this club.
- Class 6-Under 8 football club. Unlikely this year but a priority for next academic year.
- Class 2-More things for wet play. Not sure.

Please can you put in more suggestions in the suggestion boxes in your class so we can bring it up in meetings to come.
Admittedly I don’t actually do it very often, but I am currently trying to improve on remembering to! 😉 😀 😛 🙂
