Semi final fixtures!

After some tense minutes waiting outside Mr Mastrelli’s classroom, the few contestants that were left (plus the table tennis committee) flooded into the room. Everyone was really excited to see the draw! There was nail biting, there was breath holding and most of all there was anticipation.

Mr Mastrelli knows how to keep a crowd in suspense, there was what felt like hours of silence after he pulled the first name out before he casually read out the name……JACOB!. There was even more tension before he pulled the second name out and announced who Jacob was playing…Lydia was really hoping it would be her, but it was…….JAKE! The room was in uproar! Two J’s fighting it out again.

That meant of course that Lydia was playing Holly…all the girls were really pleased that there will be a girl in the final this year.

An award winning performance from Mr Mastrelli, 5 Stars!!!

The matches are being played on Thursday 6th february in the usual place. More details to follow..
