We’ve had a super week. Well done everyone.

Lots of exciting things have been happening. Unfortunately the website has had some problems this weekend so here is the newsletter in short:

We’ve had another exciting week. Would you believe ……….our eggs hatched on the same day in class one and class two? It was so thrilling. Mrs Rathmell made the discovery in Class 2 first and then Mrs Stone in Class 1. There were footprints and quite a bit of mess left behind. The children now believe the dragons are responsible for anything which goes wrong in the classroom!

Um!

In Forest Schools this week we’ve been making mud dragons. Wow! That was tremendous fun. Very messy indeed, but it was mud after all.

Beans Our beans are continuing to grow and because we planted them in plastic transparent containers you can see the roots at the bottom as well as the stem and shoots appearing above the soil. Brilliant.

Dragon adventures We’ve started writing some dragon adventures. Where would you go on a dragon? Our journeys took us to beaches, caves and mountains. We’ve learnt a new song too, ‘Puff the magic dragon’. See if you can remember the dragon chant..

A dragon’s very fierce, A drogon’s very tough…

Monday: Handwriting books and library books. Tuesday: Wellies for Forest Schools Wednesday: PE kit Thursday: Maths Challenge Books returned to school Friday: PE kit

No ‘Stay and Play’ this week because we have an art ‘Enrichment Day’.
