Chicken Clauses…

On Tuesday morning, Class 8 looked at the differences between main and subordinate clauses. Then in pairs, they wrote a short, creative description using a picture stimulus (of three chickens!) to show their understanding of these clauses, particularly focusing on the accurate use of subordinate clauses in different places of the sentence.

    This was really fun and we wrote an epic story about a court full of chickens. The names of the chickens were called Judge Cluckington, Manager Twistleton and H.Samuel!

    Annabelle:It was tricky .. But in the end WE DID IT!! Even though , it was hard … Correction not super duper hard
    Joe:I found it hard at the start but as the session progressed it got funner and easyer.

    Sophia and I wrote a story about the three chickens escaping from the humans-the chicken’s names were: Layla,Holly and Samuel- I especially enjoyed reading them out and putting actions to it.
