Frosty days in the forest

It was frosty out in the forest today and we made a little piece of ‘ice art’ but we’ve popped it in the freezer to finish it off. We talked about animal homes and made some with leaves, branches and anything we could find on the forest floor. Do you know which British animals hibernate for Winter? We hope they like the shelter’s we’ve built if they haven’t made their own already!

We went to assembly with the whole school which was a real treat because we listened to some brass and woodwind instruments being played by a musical specialist. He was very funny and we recognised quite a few of his tunes. We’re learning some new songs with a Christmassy feel.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like…….shhh!
