Natalie Fowles (Children and Family Support Worker/Designated Safeguarding Lead)
My name is Natalie Fowles and I have worked at Park Grove Primary since September 2011. I am a Higher Level Teaching Assistant providing in-class support for children with Special Educational Needs. In addition to this, I provide teaching cover, as and when required, as well as teaching Art in Classes Lime and Maroon classes, as part of PPA cover. I am also a Children and Family Support Worker for our Pupil Support Team, which involves supporting both children and families during difficult circumstances. It gives me a lot of job satisfaction knowing that I can make even a small difference to people during challenging times. I have a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of Children and Young People and have completed various other courses, which helps me to help others. I am passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives, no matter how big or small. I enjoy watching children thrive and get a real sense of achievement if I have been able to contribute in helping them to reach their potential.
I am originally from the Red Rose County of Lancashire where I have worked with children and young people since April 2003. I still regularly visit Lancashire to see family and friends. I am an extremely proud mother to a son who recently gained a First Class Honours Degree at Leeds Beckett University. In my spare time, I love listening to music, going to concerts, travelling to lots of different countries and experiencing various cultures. I love reading a variety of genres and watching crime dramas. I also enjoy socialising and meeting new people.
