Shape Games…

We had a fantastic time playing Maths shape games devised by students from St Johns University yesterday.  We’d like to say a big “thank you” to all of the students who visited our class because the games were great fun!  What did you learn and enjoy in your activity?

About the Author
  1. Mae

it was really fun when me and Lucas had to guess each others shapes.

  2. Tom.C

I had to identify the different 2D and 3D shapes.

  3. William

Personally I really enjoyed doing all the shape work. I learnt all about angles and properties it was great fun.

  4. Joseph

I really liked it when molly and I had to stick a shape to our heads and the other person had to name properties of that shape so that the person with the shape could guess their shape.

  5. Zuzanna

I liked naming the different shapes!

  6. Tomas

    It awesome! 🙂

  7. Jacob

I learnt all about nets of shapes!!

I really enjoyed making 3D nets as it was engaging and challenging. You had to measure out the lines with a ruler, cut it out and glue it together, although I didn’t get to glue it. I chose a triangular prism.

  9. Molly

i really enjoyed who we because we got to play a relly fun math (shapes)game with her.

  10. Holly

I greatly enjoyed using a protractor for measuring angles and solving shape-based activities.

  11. Ava

In my pair with Dan we were doing properties of triangles.

  12. khai

i had lots of fun when i did some word problems we did properties of shapes and used pieces of paper and pens and we made angles and measured them.
