Stone Age Rockin’ Research!
Posted On 28 Nov 2016
Today we put our archaeology caps back on and developed our enquiry questions of the Stone Age artefacts we have been studying in class, collating all of our questions together. We researched the artefacts using a range of internet sources to find out as much as we could about them, before putting our professor caps on to formally present our findings to others,
Class 9 – which artefact were you researching? What did you find out? Did you find anything surprising?
Why did the rock roll?
Because it was round!
(I know that was bad?)
The worst joke I’ve ever done
I assure you I’ve done worse…
Anyway, I enjoyed the lesson
It expanded my knowledge of what life was like before us
I was researching the flint tranchet knife and found out flint was on of the most useful materials throughout the Stone Age to make tools with.
I had fun researching facts about the Bone Fish Harpoon????
I was researching the hand axe and i found out a lot about it. I am excited to write the report on it!
We loved holding the ancient artefacts!?It was awesome.
I enjoyed reeaserching more about the Stone Age

This. Was. Amazing
Yeah, we agree
Our table researched the deer fur and we found out lots of amazing facts. Did you know that the oldest leather footwear found was made around 3500 BcE
Ohhh!We should do a diary entry of a rock in the stone age time in class
Sorry I didn’t use capital letters then on ‘Stone Age’on the text before
Punctuation errors, punctuation errors.
