Our third week
Posted On 21 Sep 2013
Just want to say Happy Weekend to everyone after another successful week in class 1.
Everyone is really settling in now. Our new children are being so brave at lunch and are seen enjoying themselves with all their new friends and spaces.
I believe our children are really getting a hang of being at school and I know we are all excited to see this continue and watch us all grow a little bit more next week!
Well done to everyone!!!
Have a lovely weekend
Miss Sky
I couldn’t agree more.
All the children are really getting the hang of routines and enjoying working in all areas of the classroom.
We were all very tired by the end of the week!!!
We have also managed to get into the garden this week. The children have had a great time exploring the wildlife area during our forest schools session and finding sticks for the body parts to make stick men. I would like to reminder everyone to bring a waterproof coat every day as the weather is very changeable at this time of year as we try to get outside as much as possible.
Look out for Mrs Stone’s ‘forest schools’ display.
See you all refreshed on Monday.

Mrs Stone’s Forest schools display is amazing!!!!!
Well done to all Reception Children! Once again a fantastic Forest Schools session! I loved your creativity. We made pictures using sticks as picture frames and leaves were flowers. Some children said their pictures were televisions, their parents or of their visit to the seaside! Photos to follow! Ms Lamb also asked the children to practise number formation by painting various numbers. The children did a great job! Mrs Horner
