Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Yesterday we went on our school trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. It was a wonderful day and I was extremely impressed with the detailed sketches lots of you were able to do; even the parents had fun doing these as well. Unfortunately we did get very wet at lunchtime but luckily the sun came out and dried us off! There were some interesting sculptures to look at and lots of you were able to tell me about your favourites and why you liked them. I think I’ll be going back in the summer holidays to explore further.

Thank you for letting me come along on your trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, I had a great time, my group were great fun and we didn’t mind getting wet at all! Your sketches in the gallery were all brilliant and I was really impressed with how much you all concentrated on creating them. My favourite sculpture was the galloping horse!
