We applied our partitioning skills today to help us add two numbers together. Some of us ‘counted on’ using number lines and hundred squares, whereas others learnt a new method to first add the tens and then the units. At the end of the lesson, we read a fairytale word problem and solved it with a partner. We were very proud of our hard work! Keep it up Class 4!
