Amy Canham (Teacher)

Hello I am Amy Canham and I joined the teaching staff at Park Grove Primary in September 2013 after teaching in Kingston Upon Hull.

The children at Park Grove are very helpful, creative and well behaved in class. My aim is that children enjoy coming school and have fun whilst learning. I believe that all children contribute to the class ‘team’ and that each of us benefits from knowing and working alongside with each other.

I am the English subject leader at Park Grove along with Mrs Bell. Being an avid reader, this is a great role for me. I have many fond memories of reading as a child, I was always glued to a book even at the dinner table and my parents were forever telling me to stop reading! This has carried on into adulthood with many of the books I read as a child still being firm favourites.

In my spare time I also like to practice pilates and yoga, keep fit generally and in the school holidays, travel.  My passion is history and I am often found in a museum somewhere…
