This week in English, we are learning about poetry. First, we discussed the style of poems and how they are based on a theme such as the weather. We also discussed rhyming words and how words which rhyme have the same sound at the end. Afterwards, we paired up and read different Christmas poems and talked about which was our favourite and why. We’re looking forward to writing our own acrostic poems tomorrow!
