On Tuesday in class 5 we studied a picture of a war scene from World War 2. We then used our recent learning on similes and metaphors to write a descriptive piece of writing about the picture. Some of us used the picture to create a story; some used it to set the scene for a story and some of us wrote a diary entry about it.
