Hello, my name is Gary Stoner the Site Manager for the school with responsibility for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of the school and its grounds.
I started my working life as a coach builder at the carriage works in York where I did various jobs within the company over the 19 year period that I was there. I then spent 3 years installing garage equipment and a further 2 years working for a local construction company. This brought me into contact with the school during its rebuild after the fire, having been involved with the work here. Shortly after that in October 1999 I took up my position here, which has proved to be the most varied and enjoyable job I’ve had.
