Perfect Portugal…

Euro 2016 is finally over with Portugal winning this most prestigious tournament. After several twists and turns, this meant that Louie Powell and Chelsea Haskins were the lucky recipients of the Class 8 sweepstake prize: an official Euro 2016 football each.

    l really enjoyed watching all of the football matches, although i didn’t think this was the best tournament.

    The sweepstake was really fun and I enjoyed watching most of the matches!

    I enjoyed the amazing goals especially the one Shaqiri’ overhead kick against Poland ( Poland won on penalties ) and Ronaldo’s skilled shot against Hungary ( the game ended 3-3 ).

    Well done Chelsea and Ben! The thing I have enjoyed most is Wales beating Belgium and their awesome goals leading them to the Semi Final where they unfortunately got knocked out by Portugal. 🙁 🙁

    In the class sweep stake I got Sweden, who were awful ; however in the sweep stake in French I got Portugal !!! 🙂

    My best bit about the euro’s is that Albania (my country in the sweepstake) won 1:0 against Romania 😀

    I don’t really know because England got beat by Iceland. and France got beat by Portugal! I MEAN REALLY!!!

    I really enjoyed watching England vs Wales because we won 2-1.Also I enjoyed watching Portugal win against France 1-0.

    I enjoyed when we got to watch the England v Wales match in the classroom, the noise when England scored there 2 goals was immense, I always really enjoyed when Wales beat Belgium as most of the England supporters were Welsh fans in the last week of the tournament and of course I loved watching the final when the Portuguese came out victorious 🙂 🙂 😀

    My favourite part was when Wales made their way to the Semi Finals by beating the 2nd best team in the world: Belgium!

    The England v Wales match. We thrashed Wales! Although, we didn’t get to to the semi-final or final. Unlucky, England!

    Lauren and I were supporting France the whole way through and we were so close to winning but Portugal got the winning goal making them the winners of The Euros 2016!!! Fact: The player that scored for Portugal played in a premier league and never scored one goal!!! 🙂 :0

    I really enjoyed all matches – particularly:
    1. France 2-0 Germany
    2. Wales 3-1 Belgium
    3. Italy 2-0 Spain
    4. Hungary 3-3 Portugal (I got Hungary in the sweepstake)
    Although this happened:
    1. Iceland 2-1 England
    2. Portugal 1-0 France
    3. Belgium 4-0 Hungary
    4. Switzerland 1-1 4-5 Poland
    5. Italy 1-1 5-6 Germany
    6. Wales 0-2 Portugal
