Homework for the week beginning 18th November

English
In English we will be talking about ‘Superheroes’. We are continuing to think about toys but these seem to be a firm favourite in our class at the moment and we want to respond to your interests as much as we can! We will be reading stories about superheroes.
We are checking that you can write your name with a capital letter at the beginning and, if you haven’t done so already, please complete the activities on pages 3 and 5 of your reading journal.
Maths
In maths we will be continuing our counting forwards and backwards to 20. Can you be a shape detective? Look around and see which shapes you can spot around you. You could draw and label these.
Topic
We have really enjoyed making robots this week. Thank you so much for your junk donations. We do like to have bits handy so please bring bits in as and when you can. We have practised joining materials together. We’ve had fun threading beads and making amazing models in the construction area.
Any ‘superhero’ stories would be greatly appreciated (named for their safe return)
