Scarborough trip!

What a fantastic time we had in Scarborough last week as part of our ‘Beside the Seaside’ topic! The weather was perfect for us and we were so excited to get there. When we first arrived, we began spotting all of the familiar surroundings including the lighthouse, the arcades and the historic castle. Once we were off the coach, we had a walk around the beautiful Peasholm Park and then sketched the surroundings including the lake, the wildlife and the Chinese decorations. After that, we had our lunch before heading to the beach. It didn’t take long before we were digging great big holes and paddling in the chilly sea! It was a really super day which the children thoroughly enjoyed! Here’s lots of pictures from our time there…
