Measuring in Maths

On Wednesday in class 5 we had an exciting maths lesson on capacity. We did lots of activities including converting, reading scales, estimating, and our favourite, making fruit cocktails!!! All of these activities helped us to understand what capacity is and how to measure volume.

Forest Schools

Yesterday we were weaving string around forked twigs in Forest Schools. This was great practise for our fine motor skills. The twigs looked beautiful and we are going to hang some up in our outdoor classroom.
