KS1 have completed independent writing all about their homes and families. We have enjoyed sentence building and using adjectives to describe our homes. Green Class have some fantastic examples!
Today, our KS2 children had a fantastic time welcoming Rab Ferguson to Park Grove.
From hearing exciting extracts of ‘The Late Crew’, to learning what it takes to become a real-life author, the hall was filled with big imaginations and even bigger questions! A massive thank you to Rab Ferguson for inspiring our next generation of storytellers. 🌟✍️
KS1 have had a busy week! In geography, we’ve been using a map of the school grounds and compass points to discover where things are in the playground! 🗺️ We’ve also been using colourful semantics to build sentences in our writing📝

Today was an exciting day in Red Class! The new EYFS children got to meet their new Year 6 buddies and showed them around their new classroom.
Key Stage 1 has been kicking off geography by making a map of their classroom. Yellow Class had so much fun with theirs! 🌍

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games GOLD Level Award for the 2025/26 academic year.
The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport. As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year. We look forward to applying once again in 2027! #ParkGrovePE
