Firstly, thanks to the parents who came to help on Tuesday. We hope you enjoyed it?
We had a super time and certainly packed lots into our day!
We started our day normally with phonics and Funky Fingers and then we re visited our work about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. We spent some of the day painting our little divas ( clay pots for candles).
We did some fabulous Indian dancing too!
To celebrate our topic about ‘Adventurous animals’ , we did some ‘snake’ sewing. That was great and really revealed how our Funky Fingers work has ‘paid off’. And talking of ‘Adventurous animals’ , we got to see and even hold some!
Well done Class 1. You were splendind throughout but a little exhausted by the end of the day!
