Autumn term 2014 observations

It is great to see that the school is in full swing straight after the summer break!

Apart from an apparently enthusiastic start into the usual school curriculum, there are many other additional activities: for example, the running club is up again (with similar numbers of attending children as last term), the Bicycle to school initiative rolled on well and the partnership with Theatre Royal as resulted in the first cohort of School ambassadors to go over to the theatre to watch and discuss the marvelous “Princess and the pea” production.

The School Governors have had their first meetings again and some good additions to man-power and expertise. There will be class visits again from Governors in due course to get more impressions how things are going for the children and the teachers.

The school is keen (and supposed) to get yearly rating feedback from parents via the Parentview webpage: https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/ bearing in mind that any issues or niggles could or should first be discussed with the school directly to give an opportunity to deal with them
