On Wednesday 12th December, Key Stage 2 had a really interesting and important assembly all about e-safety, and we had special visitors to talk to us about being Google Internet Legends!
We learnt to Think Before You Share (Be Internet Sharp) and think carefully at what you post on the internet. We thought about making sure to Check it’s for Real (Be Internet Alert) and understand that some websites may be fake. To be safe, make sure you do not give out personal information! We also learnt to Protect Your Stuff (Be Internet Secure) and how to create secure passwords, and a really important point was to Respect Each Other (Be Internet Kind) and make sure we aren’t being mean on-line. Another key point was that we need to Be Internet Brave – When in Doubt, Discuss and talk to trusted adults.
It was a really fun yet informative assembly and so important for the world our children are growing up into!
If you have any questions about e-safety please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We also have a dedicated page on our website: http://parkgrove.
