There were lots of children who were really getting into working with the Beebot over the last week.

I have found some good games on line which help you to practise the same skills in creating very simple algorithms.

This one is for a Beebot app which you can download to the iPad.

This one is really aimed at the Year 1 children. There are 3 levels of simple programming. At its most basic level, the children can observe the rocket moving as they click the buttons. They can also see the commands appearing on the left hand side of the screen. Make sure that you click on the Year 1 and 2 lesson plans to start with.

This is a brand new simplified version of Scratch, a programming app for infant age children. You can snap command blocks together and find out what happens by adding a green flag to the start line.

Happy playing!

Mr Hodge. 🙂
