Building habitats

Reception children were working outside in forest schools this afternoon. They used wool to weave around sticks and twigs. They looked very colourful on such a grey day!
In the outdoor classroom, we did lots of mark making activities. We also had dinosaurs, road workers and even trolls keeping the Billy goats Gruff off the bridge. Very scary!
Year 1 children have also been very busy in the classroom too. They have made some brilliant habitats for various animals. Can you remember what a habitat is and what animal lives in the one you made?
