This week’s spellings will focus on the ‘oa’ sound which we have been learning about in phonics. These may include variations including ‘ow’, ‘o-e’ split digraph and ‘o’ on its own. The children are particularly enjoying phonics at the moment and it has been fantastic to see how eager they are to complete activities. Further practise at home will consolidate their skills and develop their understanding of spelling patterns, so we hope to see lots of children completing their spellings each week.
