Class 4’s homework and next week…

Spellings this week will be looking at the ‘or’ sound which we have been learning about in Phonics. Words may include variations such as ‘oor’ for door, ‘ore’ for more and ‘our’ for court. Please encourage your child to practise them using neat lead in lines handwriting! Next week we will be writing our own information texts about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In Maths, we will be learning all about fractions. Also, we’ll be starting Design and Technology and we would really like the children to bring in some moving pop-up books to help us learn about moving pictures. If you have any at home we would be very grateful if you could bring these in next week!
