Creative Carrie’s War

This week we have been reading Carrie’s war. This book is based on an evacuee who went to the countryside throughout World War Two (our topic). We’ve (as a class) read up to Chapter 5; in that chapter the main characters went/fell into Mrs Gotobed’s house where they were given a goose to take back to Mr Evans’ house. They were also shown a skull with a mysterious background story!

In our English lessons we have been writing as Carrie in a diary entry, giving instructions on ‘How to survive in the Evans’ household’ and made some predictions about what will happen next!
