Hello Class 6! Did any of you go and watch those amazing runners running the first ever Yorkshire marathon? My friend took part and ran the 26.2 miles in 3 hours and 38 minutes! I thought she was so brave! I wonder how Mrs Hearson got on? – Miss Land.

I went to watch but I didn’t spot Mrs Hearson (I think she was too fast!)
I watched it when it passed near my house! I saw people from the TV (Emmerdale), and I saw my neighbours, and I saw lots of people in fancy dress (including a banana, two Elvis Presleys, an elephant and a fairy. I didn’t see Mrs Hearson but there were so many people running it was hard to see everyone. It was a brilliant event!
