Going back in time…

This afternoon, we imagined going back in time to what Park Grove would have been like in the Victorian era. We thought about the similarities and differences between schools then and now, before going into character of a Victorian Park Grover.

We also tried a bit of Victorian schooling and attempted to learn a Victorian poem off by heart, as they would have done in their lessons. We made it into a fun competition (I’m sure it wouldn’t have been like that in actual Victorian times!) and we even had a proper Victorian punishment for those who couldn’t remember their lines!
