Governor blog 13 September 2013

Hi everyone.  This the first governor blog of the new school year and my first on the new website.  I may be tempting fate having my first go on Friday the 13th in 2013 but I’m not superstitious.  So fingers crossed, touch wood here goes.

I hope everyone is as impressed as I am with the new website.  I think the website committee should be congratulated, and special thanks to Mr Staite for improving and maintaining the old one as well as all the work he continues to do on the new website.

Miss Sawyer has already wished everyone welcome back and I would add my welcome especially to those pupils who are just starting their education at Park Grove.  I came to the final assembly of the last term which I found to be a particularly joyous occasion.  There were some mixed emotions, obviously, but an overwhelming feeling of optimism amongst those pupils moving on to the new challenges of secondary education.  They couldn’t be better prepared for the years ahead.
