Groovy Greek myths

In class 9 we have explored some different Greek myths in preparation for writing our own. And what are two of the most important elements to a Greek myth? The hero/heroine and mythical beast of course!

We designed our own characters for the myths we will be writing in English this week, see below for some (of the many) fantastic examples from our class.

    I’m really loking forward to writing our own Greek myths! My heroine’s name is Eliza and the beasts name is The Shamour.

    My monster is a gorilla in Greek armor that has wings and super strength but is lactose-intolerant . And my hero is a one-eyed archer with a beard!

    I loved doing this piece of work! It was epic. My person was called Perdit (after the Latin work Perdita meaning lost) and my monster is called Elementerus. It is the picture right at the top!

    My hero is called Gizmo, and he likes adventures but not danger (unfortunately) and he goes to destroy the Golem in order to save the village.
