Helen Steel (Teacher)

Hello, my name is Helen Steel. I originally joined the Park Grove team in 2005 (!) and after a brief time away rejoined in 2022. Over my years here I have enjoyed getting to know many children and have been privileged to see them develop their knowledge and confidence in a wide range of subjects. I think it is very important to support children in developing the skills and attributes they will need for the next stages of their education and beyond – I strive to provide such opportunities within my classroom.

I volunteer at a local guide group and also spend time walking with people who without would otherwise find it difficult to get out and about. I can also be found working on the reception at the dentist and invigilating at a secondary school. When not at work I am kept somewhat busy by my four children!
