Spellings this week will focus on the ‘air’ sound in words. Variations could include ‘ear’ for pear, ‘ere’ for where and ‘are’ for stare. As always, please encourage your children to use these in a sentence to ensure they understand its definition and the context it should be used in. This is particularly important as some words sound the same but have different meanings such as stare and stair!
