Spellings this week will focus on common exception words which the children frequently use in their writing. Please encourage them to also use this words in sentences to ensure they know the meaning of them. Also, a lot of the children’s new English targets focus on punctuation. Perhaps you could encourage them to write sentences using a range of punctuation such as question marks, exclamation marks and commas?
